Missing Files

Hey guys.

Having a problem here that never has happened to me :\

 

Suddenly some of my desktop files just went missing, for no reason.

 

I find this odd because now, I have a folder in my desktop named "sas" and I have no access to it.

 

Does anyone knows what this might be?

This sounds like malicious software of some sort. Make sure your anti-virus is up to date, and download Malwarebytes free version and run a scan.

Detected some malware, but haven't solved the problem.

boot to safe mode and do the scan

 

in safe mode when the virus are inactive

 

you will be able to remove them
