Hello I am kinda new to building a PC from scratch and i wanted to know if this CPU cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835288004 would fit in this pc case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146187 and i would also would love it if you guys could also recommend a CPU cooler because the CPU I am buying doesn't come with a cooler and I don't know much about cooling and I wanna try water cooling but I don't know a thing about it and little scared about braking components.

CM 212 evo is good and the Enermax ETS 40. Or higher end H100I or Cryorig R1. Also dont get that power supply as its teir five, "Replace immediately. These units are NOT recommended for any system, no matter the purpose. Reference to higher tiered models for a better and potentially money-saving unit "

Hello I am kinda new to building a PC from scratch and i wanted to know if this CPU cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835288004 would fit in this pc case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146187 and i would also would love it if you guys could also recommend a CPU cooler because the CPU I am buying doesn't come with a cooler and I don't know much about cooling and I wanna try water cooling but I don't know a thing about it and little scared about braking components...

Have you considered closed-loop water cooling instead of air? (H100i) but consider water cooling doesn't last as long as air.

If you want air cooling maybe consider something more performance-related like an Akasa Medusa http://www.akasa.co.uk/update.php?tpl=product/cpu.product.tpl&no=181&type=CPU%20coolers&type_sub=Retail%20cooler&model=AK-CC4010HP01 (although if you're not planning on over-clocking (since you're new to this stuff) you might not need it).

Also, maybe consider a motherboard with the Z97 chip set. A good budget model is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132131&cm_re=Z97-C-_-13-132-131-_-Product

Also, don't try and save money on the power supply. Cheap ones can and do fail and can destroy all of your components and as far as I know can even catch fire. It's not a good place to try and save money. Better to get a budget motherboard and put the extra towards the power supply.

If you have to save money with the power supply, take care to buy only what you need. People tend to pay way way too much for way way too powerful PSUs and power they just don't need.

Inefficiency in a power supply really isn't that costly (especially with this generation of hardware which is considerably less power hungry)  so if you really need to save money on the PSU go for a lower end PSU from a quality trusted name brand (like Corsair) rather than a higher rated model from an unproven manufacturer/supplier.  That's a rule of thumb, be sure to research the specific power supply you plan to buy.

Edit: Also, you might do better with cheaper RAM. Cost-wise it's probably not worth the money to go for the expensive stuff (you're really just paying for the privileged of knowing it's there). You'd be better off getting two SDD drives to run in a striped array (if you're concerned about general, overall performance). It won't make the games faster, just the load-times but it will make general surfing and computing tasks much faster. (See my sig. re. future-proofing). But that would mean you'd need to learn about how to create/use raid arrays.

16gig of RAM is the most you'll need for a long while (if all you're doing is gaming) and you could probably easily just go with eight and probably never max it out (more RAM is only really useful if you're rendering, or processing video, etc.). By the time you need 16gig of RAM to run a game effectively your whole build (and all of our builds) will be out of date. Again, see my sig re. future proofing.

Also, it's better to go for two sticks of RAM rather than four. It might seem like four would be more efficient but as far as I know most motherboards are still only designed to function most efficiently using two slots, regardless of whether they have two or four.

A good rule of thumb is to figure out what you want to render (how many frames per second at what resolution and whether you want stereoscopic 3D, g-synch, free-synch etc. for which you need special monitors) and work backwards from that, spreading the cost accordingly.

Also, headset V.R. is just around the corner so you might want to put a little money aside to put towards that when it arrives.

No worries :0)

Unless you're going to over-clock, the Medusa might be overkill, and there are other similar products on the market that you might prefer the look of etc. (also, if you're not planning on over-clocking you might be able to save the money you'd spend on a performance heatsink).

Also, the GTX 970 is an amazing graphics chip at an amazing value at the moment.

P.S. in case you missed it, I added more to my previous post, so it might be worth a re-read. Hope it helps.
