Data being used up by "Android OS"?

I use a Motorola Moto G 2014 and whenever I turn on my data to say send a whatsapp message or check my email, "Android OS" seems to take up some data. It may of only used 4mb all together but I only have 500MB to last me a month so I need as much as possible.

It just the phone using some data to send statistical stuff. Just try to not hop into the Motorola or Google Settings on data. Or just turn off your data completely.
