So I've been wanting to upgrade my GPU for some time now but I have not kept up with current GPUs so does anyone have a recommendation for a GPU that would be a great upgrade for my rig? A friend recommended a GTX780Ti but then another said If am going to spend that much on a GPU why not get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121905&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=  like I said I have not kept up with current GPUs only thing I know is the GTX980/970 are the newest 4k GPUs but I really don't care about 4k I just want something that can do 1920x1080 on Maxed out settings on the newest games, also so I can use dual monitors and that will last me for quite some time.

Here are my Specs http://pcpartpicker.com/b/gJZLrH

Either GPU (780ti / 970) will keep your 1080p monitors supplied with the gorgeous bytes of data :D

I'll recommend the 980. Although the 970 could just about cut it.

A 970 can definetely run any game at full settings!

Whats the difference between them? beside the numbers....

Edit: I did not expect to get replies this fast :D Thanks Guys.

Well considering you have dual monitors I guess a 980 would be a little better.

Of course if you're just at 1080p a 980 is seriously overkill.

The 980 is quite a bit better than the 970, and quite a bit more expensive. However the 970 is much better value.

My build: tis be ordered

Is the tech behind them the same or does the 980 have something the 970 lacks that would make it a better investment then the 970?
