need amplifier or something

i am planning to build my own speakers, on a budget, i have the speakers catered for! but im stuck for an amp i dont like hugely loud music, here are the speakers i have chosen! http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0037YZLOG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE i dont want to spend more than £20 on an amplifer, this will be used in my house, so i can either convert a old pc power supply or something or just get one designed for the house. also how loud would these speakers be without a amp with just a aux cable to my pc

I hope you didn't buy those speakers already. Those are a terrible option for home use (even for car use :ph34r:).

Are you wanting to build or do you just want cheap speakers? If it's the latter: look for a cheap PC set (2.0 or 2.1)

Lepai 2020 then.

Thanks mate that should power the 2 440watt speakers even though its 20 watts

Ok then. Buy some 12mm plywood and make a 20 liter box for each speaker. Use a Lepai LP2020A+ to power them.
