Mic for recording

What mic should I use for recording and streaming games using services like Twitch.  It has to sound good and not pick up the noise my keyboard makes because it is mechanical.

AT2020, is good enough at illuminating background noise but there still will be some of it left.

Most microphones will capture your keyboard when open mic to some degree.

 

OBS(possibly Xsplit) allows you to use Noise Gating.  It turns your microphone off until noise levels reach a certain value, it is possible to set it up so your mic is off until you speak.  If you really hammer on your keys it will be hard to gate that noise.  If you have a lot of background noise it can also be annoying hearing the gate turn off and on

Something like blue yeti or the AT2020 are probably the most recommended ones.

 

If you need a cheaper mic, Blue snowball is an excellent mic
