Graphics Cards to hot!

Hi guys,

 

I got this Reaaaallyyy bad graphics  card the Nvidia GT 640 and it get's very hot and work on 97% all the time

as you can see on the picture i called the company where i bought it and they said that i should re intall windows, should i do that or what could be the problem?

You should check all the programms you are running. Also, 49°C isnt really hot...

Yeah, The GPU isn't that hot at all. But on the other side the minimum load is 94%? That could be a driver issue.

It is also when i don't have pizza running but it works all the time at 97% or 96% that's also not good, haha

i just downloaded the 320.18 i had first the 320.14 but it works! :D no problems!

try using the previous nvidia driver.if nothing happens,try scanning your pc with antivirus.who knows someone is using you gpu as bitcoin miner..

50oc is quite hot but at full usage which the card is running at means that 50oc is nothing.

50oc at full load is not hot if its at idle thats higher than normal, it could just be drivers you can download MSI Kombuster and see if it's gets hotter also you can download MSI afterbuner & EVGA Precision and see if they say the same temp. as a last resort you can take off the cooler and apply new thermal paste to try and lower you're temps. But that will void warranty.

Maybe you have bitcoin warez running on the background. Try use Process Explorer and check what process is utilizing your GPU.
