Hello Folks!

For some reason, Internet Explorer seems to run as a background process all the time for me.

I can end the task, but a few minutes, maybe an hour later, it will be back.

Sometimes it's multiple instances.

It isn't a big problem, but sometimes, if there are like 10 of them, it gets noticeable.

I tried turning Internet Explorer off in the Windows settings, but that didn't help.

How do I fix this?

Thanks. :)

I'm currently on it.

I use Malware Bytes, is that OK?

AVG to be double sure

if not boot to safe mode and do the same scan to see any hidden virus

tried disabling it on startup? it could be a shitty virus as well , check it clean if it is..

I did turn it off entirely.

Malware Bytes didn't find anything.

Is that possible?

I just know that you can disable it.

Go to windows features and deselect it.
