Hey guys what settings do you predict I'll be able to run dying light at, I know it's minimium and recommended specs are quite intense :)

amd fx 8350 @4.4ghz amd r9 280x vapor x

You definitely will be able to run it if the game is properly optimized.

Dying Light doesn't have very good graphics, so you should be fine.

Uhh probably high. Doesn't seem like a very demanding game, especially since Dead Island could run on a lot of machines.

It probably won't be too CPU intensive so you're OK in that area and your GPU is pretty powerful.

Really depends on which game, Dying Light has been tested on PC by various YouTubers given access to the demo. One with a 970 can max it out at well over 60fps and it seems to perform similarly on older rigs to Dead Island.

Also if System Requirements are released by a trusted dev, (not ubisoft) then you can presume based on those what performance will be like. (For example, The Witcher 3.)

Wrong, Dying Light will be the first game ever with 8192p textures as part of a stock game afaik (character skins only though)

As well as some other interesting new techniques regarding lighting and air particles.

OP: You won't be VRAM bottlenecked at 1080p on high settings with a 280x so that's my prediction. Whether or not a bottleneck kicks in at ultra will depend on LOD/ view distance as well as your choice of AA. Using MSAA is out of the question.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

We will see.

Judging by the videos on this game, it doesn't look amazing, don't get me wrong, it look good. But it won't be Crysis PC destroyer.

Also, you hardly be seeing characters anyway - Unless you mean zombies.

Why are you in tears? I think the system requirements make up for the delayed release.

There were a lot of rumors and possible evidence that the PC verison is completely rebuild from te ground up. I was really hyped as well but now that I'm almost sure that the PC version will be good I can wait a little longer.

Those system requirements are scary...

In a bad way or a good way?

What requirements would u like to see to call them "good" ?

The requirements are pretty high and could indicate bad port. They're similar to AC:U. Dying Light does seem to have good graphics and stuff so I wouldn't expect low requirements, but not this high either. I hope you can get stable 60 fps at 1080p with most settings at max with the recommended hardware.
