I'm looking at getting this power supply; http://www.ebuyer.com/584148-coolermaster-gm-series-550w-semi-modular-80-bronze-power-supply-rs550-amaab1-uk It's just not on PCPartPicker so I stuck the CX in there as a placeholder. I've checked the reviews and it seems to be a good PSU.

You could do better in that budget I believe. That PSU is okay.

Built this for some other guy a few minutes ago. And don't buy Corsair ram (at this price point).

I've literally never seen that Patriot Signature RAM in stock at Amazon, and that's the only place that sells. There aren't really any other options at that price. If it happens to be in stock when I'm buying (in a few days) I'll get it and switch some other parts out. I'll see if I can fit a 280x in too.

I don't know, I'd still have concerns with regards to security. It seems like the only way I can be 100% sure of what I'm getting is to just pay the full £70.

I've used G2A and if you're unsure you can use the shield if its a 3rd party seller so if its bad you get a refund. And it does save you money. Alternativley you could download Windows 10 which is stable as far as I'm concerned and its free.

I'll think about it, but I'll need to look into it a bit more. It's definitely worth considering anyway.

That 64GB SSD is too small for anything but the OS. Honestly at this price point, youre better off focusing on real performance parts like GPU and CPU. You also dont need an optical drive in this day and age. With that in mind, this is what I'd recommend:
