Ok I have built my pc before and am building a far far superior one now.

and before anything do not say "don't go above 2 way sli, not worth the money, etc"

First of all, I thought I heard you can ONLY have 3 980's at a time? Not 4? When I was looking it up there were benchmarks for 4. Or just one for pysics? Because I could care less about that. not spending $530 on pysics, sorry.

anyway, my pc will be

i7 5630(already bought)

32gbs DDR4

4 way  980 SLI

Now this will take a few months to complete so I won't be building this overnight sorry to say...

Now I want to be 100% sure on EVERYTHING before I purchase the parts.

I didn't want to spend loads of money on a mobo but this I believe is the best: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FREE-SHIP-Asus-RAMPAGE-V-EXTREME-LGA2011-v3-Intel-X99-DDR4-4-Way-CrossFireX-/201195783483?pt=Motherboards&hash=item2ed834053b IS the best for what I am making? Seems like the most expensive.

now for the case, I got the phantom 410 I think, that should still be fine right? OR do I actually have to waste more money on a new one.....? I hate cases.

and for the..... PSU. I have 2, a 1000 and a 750. Can I put 2 on each or how would I exactly do that?

and finally for the gpu, I wanted to go with the cheaper uglier version: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201188946819 all the SLI I saw were the reference version. will this still work and fit?

CPU: i9 19300k////GPU: RTX 4090////RAM: 64gb DDR5 5600mhz ////MOBO: Aorus z790 Elite////MONITORS: 3 LG 38" 3840x1600 WIDESCREEN MONITORS

I'd probably stay away from eBay...but that's just my two cents.

I bought my entire last pc on eBay in parts

Ah... it sucks to be "poor" and only able to afford a peasant 970..... btw, tell me what you'll use this pc for.

Here is the deal: instead of going 4 980s, go for 3 980s and use the money of the 4th into making a custom loop. With that, you'll be able to OC your 980s to the limit, and probably get even more performance than 4 980 stock.

trust me I am poor but every penny I spend goes into this lo.

That does sound good but I would need a huge expensive case for that. But If you can list everything I need for watercooling for the three that would be fantastic and would look significantly better.

but it is gaming only. 7680x1080.

Are you referring to yourself?

Yup.

I'm so tempted to say that OP really doesn't know what to do with his money.... but he just might ACTUALLY need such setup, for w.e reason. Maybe he needs to run a weird program that has close to 100% scaling on quad SLI, and still gets GPU bound, so a quad 980 is a must... I'm just waiting for OP to tell me what does he intend to achieve with his machine before I can start telling him not to buy it.

  1. No, you are not poor. If you can actually afford that setup, you are rich, hands down.
  2. I'm not experienced in WC, you'll have to ask other member about it.
  3. "Gaming". Really.... So you bought a CPU with a ton of threads and uber-fast memory, for an application that can't benefit from such features? Okay, I guess it's your money.... wait a second, 7680x1080p??? Dude... It's NEVER recommended to go with such wide aspect ratios, the games don't handle that well. The image gets all stretched, to the point of looking ugly. Just... URGH.

Get 2 980s now. They'll probably be enough for you. Then, IF you feel the need for more power, once you actually tried it out, you can grab the 3rd 980 along with the watercooling.

1.200 a week living with parents is poor.

3.ddr4 and I want top of the line. No half assing it. And like I said earlier. I have NOTHING else to spend it on. No need to be a prick about it.

Some games look great some look terrible. I absolutely love multi monitor set up especially wide screen's. And what do you me a "stretched"? You mean "added landscape?" Then yes.

Well, I give up. Reasoning seems to be out of question with you.

Anyway, about stretching. Few games actually give you added landscape. Take a look at this image. You can clearly see stretching on the side monitors. It'll become even worse, considering you are using ultrawide monitors.

I know what you are talking about but it doesn't matter much in fps unless you have 3 eyeballs that can focus on all screen's.

Also what I mean by stretching is cod without widescreen.

fiemKm5.jpg that looks beautiful

Anyway.... I still need to know about the most important part. The psu and mobo
