When stress testing a gpu in furmark how do you know if there is "articfacts" or instability in the gpu? Linus always talks about that I have no idea what to look for

For starting, don't use furmark its known to kill GPUs.  Use uinigen Heaven benchmark instead.  Also Artifact is weird colors or distortions in the image or even system crashing or driver crashing which only ussually occurs when the gpu is overclocked.
