so all i did was switch out a HDMI - DVI for a HDMI cable and all my screens started to glitch out and then nothing showed up on any screen.

well i got it to work by moving all the cables round but now windows is saying my screens are in a different order and amd is saying its in the right order.

so my questions is WTF is going on i'm mind blown at the moment

yeah...

and why does it matter? as long as moving your cursour and programs from left to right and vise versa is in order why would it matter?

Watch out for each other. Love everyone and forgive everyone, including yourself. Forgive your anger, forgive your guilt. Your shame. Your sadness. Embrace and open up your love, your joy, your truth, and most especially your heart.

Windows does a horrible job of handling multimon setups.
Install something like displayfusion and use that to arrange the monitors properly.

I literally could not get my displays in order and whenever i changed orders, it would give each display a new number and not change the arrangements.
It wasn't until i reinstalled windows that it let me do it with windows.

Displayfusion!

it's just a matter of labeling the monitors. Windows probably gives a default label to every video output, regardless of what the driver says. I wouldn't worry. When in doubt, trust the driver.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

i found the issue it was the cable because it also stopped the monitor from sleeping. i swiched back to the old cable and its all fine now. im mind blow as to how a HDMI cable can cause so many issues
