Cpu temps high

OK , so after replacing my old tim ive noticed that one of my cores runs dramatically colder (by about 10c) and the other 3 run much much hotter

is it possible that i applied the tim incorrectly ?

or is it something else ?

How did you apply your thermal paste? Did you remount your cooler properly?

What are you doing when the temps are like this? Stressing all the cores?

Probably worth re-sitting the cooler. It might not be making contact properly.

small grain or rice in center of the cpu die , and yes cross pattern tightening (but not too tight)

Yeah, would definitely remount the cooler after giving it a good clean. The method of applying TIM shouldn't make that much difference.
