O-rings or no O-rings ? (G710+)

I have a Logitech G710+ with MX browns. Anyway I was reading that possibly part of reason for decreased key cap life is because of the O-RING dampeners may not be allowing the key cap stem flex enough. Anyway, I'm curious in what ways will removing the O-RINGs change the feel of the keyboard? Have any other owners of the G710+ removed the dampeners? Better or worse? 

 

I don't care about the noise. I don't mind the current feel - I haven't felt browns without the O-RINGs. 

 

Anyway is it worth it, in your opinions.

Obviously a key cap puller is easiest, but as long as you can pry on all sides of the key then you are fine. It might be tricky as they're recessed though.

Enough to take a few more off. But to be honest they aren't much different. Not much more noisier, and quite honestly they are louder as I can bottom them out more - because that seems to be easier to do, less of a pronounced stop/actuation point. 

 

I will probably take more off tomorrow as I have from the D key to left without rings and teh rest of the board still has rings so I will take them all off and see.
