Adobe Premiere Choppy video

I rendered the video once in .avi and the quality was horrible, so next I rendered the video in .avi uncompressed and made sure all the settings where the best I could have them, maximum render quality 1920x1080 29.97 FPS. when I try to play the video windows media player opens it as an audio file, then VLC player opens it as video and it's very clear but it stops every few seconds and jitters. The original video was 1920x1080 and 23.976 fps.

Are you sure that your HDD is fast enough?
