PSU fan weirdness?

So i have the old coolermaster gx650w bronze. Every 1hour or so the fan increases its speed from its normal speed to a high speed(sounds the same as my gpu on 60% fan load xfx dd). The speed last for 10seconds always, is there a reason for this, is it a problem, should slick be fired?

You might need to get a new PSU.

try giving it a good clean with bursts of air from a compressed air can. if you can't get one then try to use a vacuum and a couple of swabs.

I brought it two days ago.the psu was on sale.

I dont think its a problem, i think it might be hot and after ten seconds of higher level cooling it reverts to its old level, its only noticeable because normally i cant hear the psu fan which might mean it wasnt on until then. I have been gaming for 80% of these last few days so that might be part of the problem.
