CORE 2 DUO 2.4

RAM:

4GB (4X1GB STICKS DUAL CHANNEL) 667 MHZ

PSU:

Corsair CX430 (1 pcie connector)

Can I/Could I use a GTX-780TI reference nvidia design card with this setup? (Despite the huge bottleneck)

If not, what should I change in order to be able to use that awesome card?

you can use it, however i would actually change everything in order to do that..

At the very minimum the PSU then it comes down to a lot of bottlenecks

If you do i will cry for the 780ti it need a proper home :(

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

What can you do to make it not bottleneck?

New mobo

New CPU

More RAM

Better PSU

 

Or just sell your current PC and buy parts for a new one. Out with the old, in with the new. Even if you have to go down to a 970 to get these new parts, it would be worth it.
