Installing Windows 7 Troubleshooting

Click cancel and plug into a different USB slot. Dont use USB 3

Try the external dvd drive on other USB.

 

It will solve the problem.

Like the others have said.  Boot using a USB 2.0 port, Windows 7 doesn't have native USB 3.0 drivers so the ports stop working the second you get into setup.  

 

 

USB 3.0 ports are blue. USB 2.0 are either White or Black, I can't remember.
