nvidea surround

hello guys/gals

 

im trying to try nvidea surround so i can decide if i want to put the money into a 3rd 1080 monitor.

 

i currently have 2 1080 monitors and a 720p monitor. is their a i can run 1080 across all three. 

 

i think i remember someone talking about runing 4k on a 1080p monitor. I think is called upsampling but im not 100% sure.

As long as the 720p monitor is set to run at 1080p, it should work okay. 

 

If not, you can try using triple head software like SoftTH.

To run nVidia surround, for 2D, you need 3 monitors of the same resolution and refresh rate. for 3D surround, each must be of the exact same model. As for running a higer resolution - it is possible but you'd most likely need software to make it run at that resolution.

They don't have to be the same size or refresh rate or the same model. Just focus on resolution, card(s) and cables.
