Streaming + Gaming = ? How would it handle?

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

It was an off example but unless you're rendering long and high content videos I wouldn't justify it. :P

True I suppose thats up to the OP :D and how much he deems his time is worth

How good would this PC for streaming, rendering and gaming? And is something stopping me from Overclocking, putting another 970 in ect?

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K

CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

PSU: EVGA 750W

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB 1600MHz

HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200Rpm

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z97X Gaming 3

CASE: NZXT S340 - Black

SSD: Intel 530 Series 120GB 2.5"

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM

My main games that i would play the most is Dark Souls and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, CS:GO and Battlefield 4 or Hardline. Maybe some other games like LoL or Smite.

SNIP

Looks great should handle everything fine

For streaming/rendering/recording etc, more CPU power is beneficial if you can stretch to an i7 4790k you will only benefit, but as far as gaming goes very nice build

I wouldnt really change anything :) (maybe a better cooler?)

Looks fine. It would be great for everything most of what you've mentioned.

Depending on what you're rendering, it should be fine for that as well.

Eh, you'd save like less than a minute on render times.

way more than that here is an example from a post on this forum that I just googled :P

The video is 127500 frames.
3770k took 64.39 minutes
3570k took 85 minutes.

What's QuickSync?

It's an encoding/decoding technology built into some Intel cpus.
