i need a little help

Go to solution Solved by DEDRICK,

You can typically force a program to run either from integrated or high-performance by Right clicking the shortcut and choosing the correct option (This menu must be enabled in nVidia Control Panel).  This option overrides whatever you have set up as your preferred.

hello, i have just set up my new laptop and i have small problem.

that laptop have intel HD4400 and GeForce 840m, but it's always using intel hd graphic, i tried changing 3d settings on Nvidia control panel but it always switches back to auto-select, which selects intel's graphic, then i tried disabling intel hd graphic in windows control panel, but it switches to lower resolution and it says that this screen isn't connected to nvidia graphic card and it shows weird lines when i start pc with intel hd off, although FPS is higher when it's off.

how should i set things so geforce840m would run correctly?

is it possible that it is broken?

what should i do?

So i tested it with Path of exile and GPU kicked in but it didn't work for Minecraft.

But i was restarting pc and i noticed that there were now those strange lines and it doesn't matter if i have internal graphic disabled or not

And i think this could be bad.
