Hi I was wanting to do a back up of me computer but I did not know how much storage I needed. The hard drive size I am wanting to back up is 1TB and it is filled up.

If someone could help me that would be much appreciated

you should check where you store your file and right click on the folder and see the size

Soz what I want to do is make a shadow copy/back up repair copy

A full image backup is the same size as what's taken up on your hdd so far. As for backing up documents and files, backup and restore (win7) or file history (win8) will tell you how much space you need.
