Help with Fly-Ins

Hey Guys I'm doing a school project and was wondering what kind of pop ups does Edzel or the others use for editing Linus' Videos?

 

I want to add Info text to them if possible.

 

ALSO, My comp isnt the fastest so rendering needs to be kept minimal.

 

Any help?

Pop ups?

If you're talking about visual effects, I'm guessing they're just masks and solids in After Effects.
