Anyone used these before?

has anyone ever used the Silverstone LS01W LED strips (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/silverstone-sst-ls01w-led-light-strip-white) before if so how are they?

Haven't used them before but they look like standard SMD 5050 LED strips, so they should be very bright and be similar to ones like the Bitfenix Alchemy strips.

BitFenix Alchemy LED strips are great.

Linus used the same in his own rig.

Here's the link for product page.

Silverstone's led strips are shit. Ive had mine working sun bright for only 2 days, then they faded.

I bought a 5 meter strip on eBay for $15 and used a 1 amp wall wart to power them in my PC case and under my desk. They perform surprising well to this day and I've been using them for a year and a half now. If you wanted to go overkill you could order an RGB LED strip and control box off of eBay so you could change colours on the fly without having to change out the strips.
