I know linus and many of you use a specific software to stress test the cpu but i can't recall it's name.

Ps:Where did the search function go?

Linus is a fan of AIDA64. OCCT is another great one and if you are on any Haswell K series chip the Intel Extreme Stress Test is a good one to hit all the new technology.
