Does COD:AW campaign get more interesting ?

I'm like and hour in and I find it pretty boring, haven't touched it in like 2 weeks. Same stuff, shoot there, breach here like in all the other ones. I'm not a huge fan of ultra futuristic fps, I did enjoy mw3 and bl2 campaign but now I dont enjoy any of it to be honest. I get super annoyed when I have to watch the same stupid intro when the game is loading, with guy taking the mask off taking a huge breath when everyone around him is not wearing the mask, whats up with that? So does single player get more interesting couple hours in or is just plain boring? Maybe i'm getting too old for point a - b shooters. I do like BF4 multiplayer and enjoyed campaign as well.

You're not getting to old. The problem is, that you've bought the worst FPS. 

Call of Duty sucks since CoD:6 and nothing is going to change about that. Don't even buy that shit. You should instead make some research and find some other first-person-shooters. CoD and Battlefield are not the only ones.

I didn't buy it because I wanted to check if it will perform well on my pc, but in the end I'm glad I didn't because its terrible. What other FPS do you recommend, i really like bf4 and bf3 i think I've always been a fan of open warfare. Was thinking about downloading Planetside 2. Counterstrike series is bit too much for me, way to many hardcore players and I do like quick re-spawn and ability to zoom my weapon.

It doesn't get any better. I recommend Far Cry 3 / 4 , Bioshock Series, and the GTA Series with First Person Mod

I've played bioshock infinite i liked it, played like 6hrs of bioshock original but need to install it on my gaming pc and copy save game from my laptop- awesome game. Played far cry 3 which I liked a lot apart from retarded mission to fix the ship inside the caves - what retard made this mission is beyond me, ship is inside a cave on top of the mountain - where is it gonna go where there is no exit or a way to go to the sea? I will try far cry 4 and see if its fixed from the time I tried it first. I played metro last light on 360, it was good but haven't tried metro 1. Thanks for replies btw.

A good multiplayer shooter is Heroes & Generals for example. It's more a slow combat, but still a lot of fun. And it's free

There are a lot of good singleplayer FPS out there. As you said, Bioshock, Far Cry, Metro, but also Bulletstorm, Borderlands, Fallout, Red Orchestra, Rage and more...

Mirrors edge is worth trying, not really FPS per-say but it's still a good game, really fun gameplay.

But I wouldn't really say that Borderlands is great, sure it enjoyed the first and second one but the newest one was terrible, same old collect loot gameplay which got really tiring. I wouldn't say the Pre Sequel was terrible, but definitly not great as the other two titles were. But 2K also said, that the PreSequel is more like a filler and nothing big. So I can understand why it wasn't that great. It was also not developed by the same team.

And if BL3 is great, then they did it right.

Thanks a lot for all recommendations damn, so many games to play so little time. Me coming from console gaming I love backwards compatibility and amount of games I can play for next to nothing now that I'm on pc:)
