Where to buy custom sleeving parts

Harry76

I am looking at sleeving my power supply, would anyone be Able to link me a site that sells all the nessecary equipment. E.g. Heat shrink tubing, sleeve, and stuff like cable removers. Also world wide shipping would be very helpful as I live in australia and no-one ever ships here :(.

Got the perfect site for you hangon....

Here ya go:

to remove the cables from the connectors: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mod-Smart-Full-Pin-Removal-Tool-Kit-Molex-ATX-Kit-For-PC-Computer-Connectors-Plugs/2035828034.html

paracord for sleeving (you might need 200ft or more): http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Paracord-550-Paracord-Parachute-Cord-Lanyard-Rope-Mil-Spec-Type-III-7-Strand-100-FT/506643468.html

Heatshrink (just ordered and tested it - works great): http://www.aliexpress.com/item/180pcs-6-Sizes-Black-Assortment-Ratio-2-1-Polyolefin-Heat-Shrink-Tube-Tubing-Sleeving-Wrap-Wire/1631375001.html

And you dont need a heatgun for heatshrink you can just use a lighter... matter of fact with paracord you dont even need heatshring you can just melt the end of the paracord to the connector - watch Lutr0 heatshrinkless sleeving on youtube.

Use these to remove the connectors -> http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mod-Smart-Full-Pin-Removal-Tool-Kit-Molex-ATX-Kit-For-PC-Computer-Connectors-Plugs/2035828034.html

And you dont need overpriced MDPC stuff just get a cheap spool of paracord (works perfect and you dont even need the pesky heatshrink)

Just ordered the Paracord and some $1.80 heatstroke pack of 200 just cause it was so cheap. Let's hope all goes well and I'll let you all know how it goes :)

@Harry76 Btw don't worry if the tracking numbers dont work or the order takes a while to ship... I've ordered a ton of stuff from there and it always arrives.

Ok thanks, yeha it said it can take up to 45 days to arrive. I didn't bother ordering the tool as I practised on a PSU that I had lying around and used a couple staples and got the pins out easily.
