ram voltages?

Go to solution Solved by Sack,

eh yeah,, timings and speed too, but i think they're both from corsair...

It's probably not a good idea, it could work, but it could also mess up your computer.

hey guys,

i have an old asus p5q-e with a core 2 duo on it.

it currently has a 4gb dual kit at 2.1V..

i have another 4GB dual kit at 1.8V just lying here...

is it possible to use both at the same time?

thanks in advance

Pepe

I wouldn't mix ram kits that aren't the same manufacturer, different timings, volts can be adjusted. I'm just going to guess that there's other stuff that's different than the volts.
