Are you willing to reinstall your OS or not?

If you're reinstalling, then just make a backup of all important files and then go through the installation and make sure to use the SSD as the boot drive.

If you're trying to keep your existing installation, then you'll probably want to use some free data migration software, or some that came with the drive.

Sig under construction.

I have Rufus installed, for the create a bootable disk using option, do i sett it to ISO Image?

Don't?

Just use the disc image file you downloaded and open it in Rufus?

You might need to set the file selector to 'all files'.

If you downloaded windows 8 and have a spare usb stick (8gb or higher) run the installer and install to removable media. Bam, instant usb install drive. Just set the target pc boot order to prioritize usb and the usb stick will do the rest for you. Just remember to back up all your files as the install wipes the entire drive.
