cant access folder after reinstall

so i reinstall windows the other day and not i cant access my films folder that was on the hard drive how can i get acces to this folder

Did you try it with the admin account?

Everything that's in my PC and on my desk

you need to take ownership of the folder, then your be able to reapply permissions

Workstation:
Intel Core i7 5820k @ 4.4Ghz, Asus Rampage V Extreme, 32Gb G.Skill Ripjaws 4 2400 DDR4,2 x Nvidia 980 Gtx Reference Cards in Sli,
1TB - 4 x 250Gb Samsung Evo 840 Raid 0, Corsair AX1200i, Lian Li PC-D600 Silver.

im guessing you clicked change next to owner and your running 8/8.1?

never mind i did it again and it worked don't know why or how but it did thanks for your help though
