Water Cooling Prices

Go to solution Solved by everything count to life,

Ok thanks. If I planned on adding another gpu in the futre do you think it could handle it? Also what kind of extra rad size do you think the h220 could accommodate, like could I attach a 480 mm rad to it also (I highly doubt it)?

Well that's the problem with the H220 expanding its really only made for one gpu because the pump can't handle a lot of rads or big rads so if you want to add a gpu in the future you better off with a custom loop

Ok so I would like to do some custom water cooling for my new rig that I am working on. I'm wondering how much it is for a custom water cooling setup that cools one gtx 670 and my cpu. Also is the msi gd-65 z87 board any good for water cooling? I mena I know you can water cool with just about any board, but I'm pretty sure some are better than others so how is the msi gd-65? Thank you for any help.

Rough estimate.

$130 for radiator

$100 for pump

$110 for 670 block

$70-$100 for CPU block

$50 for reservoir

$20 for tubing

$50-$60 for fittings depending on if you go compression or not.

This is all of the top of my head so it may be a little more or less depending on what stuff you go with.

Hope that helps!

Yes it's a good motherboard but I don't know what you mean with better for water-cooling isn't overclocking you mean you don't need a highly priced loop for your loop I would say about $400 or lower it really depends on what you choose for example you might want nice looking expensive waterblocks

Yes if it's only a 670 and CPU your cooling it's better going for the H220 option and just add a another rad
