When creating a triple monitor setup i've heard people say that you'll need more VRAM in your GPUs. Is this true and if so why? Also how much of it would you suggest using when looking at 1440p gaming across three monitors?

Thanks - Harry :)

You'll need more VRAM, because the GPU has got to put out a much bigger resolution... thats why 4K takes up a butt tonne of VRAM whereas 1080p is alot less

4gb will be enough for now unless the game you play has terrible optimization aka ubisoft games.

well if you've got 3 monitors at 1440p, that means that you have got 3 lots of 2560x1440 pixels, which adds up to 7680x4320. The more pixels needed, puts stress on the VRAM, and would require more than just a simple 1920x1080 monitor
