hard drive pcb burned

hello, last month i connected my old hd externali with special equiqmnet for that 

and it burned,so i read on the internet some articles and they say i need to 

replace pcb,i order from ebay(the seller says this match),

now i connect him and it does reconginze 160gb but can't recovery with any\

program,it doesn't scan for files ,it's always stucks,i think its something that

related to the pcb,i attached some photos and i wish if you can tell me if

the seller tricked me and if not what should i do?

I don't know much about this subject so I hope someone will fill the blanks. But just by reading this http://www.harddrive-repair.com/pcb-repair.html changing PCB will result as working drive if pieces match. But the difference in firmware will lead to dataloss. Now, seller is correct as you have working drive. Thats about all I can say.
