Is it safe to delete temporary files? because i got 70gb worth of them

i did the disk cleanup for my main ssd (240gb) and it came up with 70gb of space it can clear up.Should i delete it? Is there any benefits other then the additional space? Any negative things that can come from it? Im on windows 7 ultimate edition

You should probably get rid of that. Temporary Files generally aren't important.

Just delete it, that stuff is there because some people don't understand the meaning of 'temporary'
