That "looks" like a mini SATA connector. You would need to find a mini Sata -> Sata cable to be able to attach to your mobo. Can you get a model number off the CD-ROM though? Then you could look it up to be sure. Newegg has some I think....

Looks like it is actually an E-IDE interface...

Hard to say - still looks like min SATA to me. :) Best bet, plug into Google the model number and "use in pc" and see what you get. Pay attention though if they say what interface. I am wondering if there are revisions, as E-IDE doesn't usually look like that....
