Hey everyone this is one of my first posts, and since Linus has been talking so much about. instead of looking through 100's of different power supplies, i've decided to ask the forum :)

okay so my plan is to build myself a new system

i've not decided all the parts yet, but i do know that i am going with the i7 4770k and the gtx 780.

So i need a PSU that can power this beast and i also really want a PSU with great factory sleaved Cables, because i do not want to do that myself.

has anyone got any PSU's they can recommend?

Thanks in advance :-)

btw. i do apologize if the post is hard to read, english is not my first language.

The Seasonic X650 has pretty nice cables and this is a modular psu.

Go with a Corsair AX760i, it's one of the best powersupplies in the market and should be able to power even 2x 780s.

Also Corsair offers some really nice individual sleeved Cables for it. (Attention: You need to buy them separately.)

A 650W power supply will handle any single GPU just fine.

Seasonic, Cooler Master, Silverstone, Enermax, Antec, they're all great choices.

I personally have had a Corsair TX650 V2 for 2 years and it's been wonderful.

Yes, it will. Just suggested the ax760i because of the upgrade option and the awesome sleeved cables from corsair.

Do you guys know of any other company that offers individual sleeved cables for they PSUs?

Corsair offers sleeved cables for AX, HX, TXM and CXM series. I would go for full modular so you can replace any cable.

Yes.  I'm not discounting your suggestion, it's a great choice, possibly the best (I mean, look at my sig :P).  Just letting the OP know that a 780 doesn't need more than 650W.

No, not really. Can you provide a link/picture to what model/type you mean in particular?

Silverstone and EVGA do (although I only personally recommend the NEX1000G2 atm); albelt, they only have one or two color choices, atm.

Edit: I'm not sure of the cables, but the Coolermaster V series are indeed high-quality units. They are based on the Seasonic KM3 platform that uses better FDB fans from Protechnic.

Sorry if it sounded that way, just wanted to give thumbs up to your suggestion, while explaining mine a bit further. :)

Usually i hate to suggest PSUs with too much wattage and i would even go so far too say, a good 550-600 watts PSU would be enough. But it's hard to get the Premium ones that small.

Just grabbed my ax750 of ebay 2 weeks ago (for about 70 dollars) :D  had a Be Quiet 530 before, probably would have been enough for my 660 SLI...

a 650w PSU would be great for that build, look at anything from Seasonic, Corsair or Silverstone.
