So, i will begin with my story

My pc was always the best in the house, I used to share it with my mom and dad sometimes, they only used it to check emails, do some MSoffice stuff and check their social networks.

Since i'm moving out I feel like leaving them a decent pc for the above purposes.

I already have these laying around:

Core i3 sandybrigde (can't remember the model # right now)

Asus MoBo p8z68M - Pro (m-ATX)

im considering adding a ssd

Need help choosing

PSU

Memory

Storage solution

cooling solution

Case

also i wanted it to be as quiet as possible and for a reasonable price.

Get them a corsair cx430 psu since they are cheap and reliable. Case get the corsair 200r since it has all the good features with out the price. Cooling, just use stock cpu cooler and corsair fans for case. Storage, get a seagate or western digital drive. Most memory should be fine if you find a good price.

PSU: Be quiet! Pure Power CM BQT L8-CM-430W or Corsair CX 430 (basically anything halfway decent with 400 - 500 watts should be more then enough)

Memory: 8GB 1333/1600mhz DDR3 (doesnt matter which)

Storage/SSD: Samsung 840 Basic 120GB and if more space is needed maybe add a WD Green

Cooling: Scythe Mugen 3 or Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (or use stock cooler, should be quiet enough with decent fan profile)

Case: Xigmatek Asgard or something similar

This is pretty similar to what i've build for my brother for working, surfing, watching blurays (added an old bluray drive) and some CS:GO (my version was with the i3 3225 with HD4000)

not really a budget case but nice

The mainboard seems a tad overpowered and the graphicscard isnt really needed i think. Also he already owns a motherboard and cpu.

is there by any chance a cheap, decent hydro-cooling solution?

Forget it, the small and cheap hydro coolers will easily be beaten by a decent air tower cooler. (In performance, price and silence)

Here you go: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/18AH0

It should be fairly quiet and snappy without breaking the wallet.
