Does anyone know how much money you can receive and have in your account if its non-verified? Specifically for Canadian accounts.

well sign up for online banking :L or telephone banking at least

Online banking is handy. Also I didn't need a check book.

It's asking me for the numbers off the check.

It's simpler with online banking, at least with ScotiaBank. Though it's not hard without.

 

You need a transit number, that's your branches ID number. They'll usually have that available on the website. Then the institution number, this list should be accurate. Then just your bank account number.

 

You'll also need your banks proper name, the linked list should work for that too.
