The bass is incredibly overwhelming so if you like that then get the V3 or V2, otherwise get the HYperX cloud

Headphones and separate mic will sound much better.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

I'm going to go for the V2 since I just read reviews on the V3 and they all said that the sound quality has gone down from the V2.

Well if you're worried about sound quality you shouldn't be going for a headset. They all sound bad.
