Hello guys, I am a rookie in diy .I plan  to build a pc on a 2200 USD budget. I plan to overclock and play all the high end games.

I have assembled two possible configs- Intel-

& amd- http://pcpartpicker.com/user/cruztorz/saved/1MhS.

I am leaning towards the AMD config.

Any suggestions, criticism and recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

For gaming stick to 8Gb of ram. For cooling you might want to consider a smaller cooler such as the H100i, for compatibility reasons. Plus, the X60 doesn't perform that much better. You should also check out the Swiftech H220.

Get the Samsung 840 Pro instead, it's a tad bit faster.

For a PSU get a Corsair TX 650 v2, XFX Pro 650. These should be cheaper but still very high quality units.

I have no comments on the case since it is personal preference.

Also the 4670K uses less power and is more efficient than the 8350, also faster but it is more expensive.

Me and two of my friends have that Asus VS239H-P panel. Great IPS panel for the price, we all love it. Shows great colors and the viewing angles are supreme.

im not an expert, but it does seem solid to me. a few things:

  • Did you consider finding another case? i personally would go with a 100 dollar case
  • about your OS, can`t you just "find" a os version and save some money on it
  • considerd a Corsair h100i instead of the kraker?
  • razor mouse and keyboard, you actually tried it? or just want it by name? i have a CM storm trigger(MX cherry black) and a CM storm advanced sentinel 2. slightly cheaper also verry nice!
  • AMD, if you dont pay the powerbill sure. if you do, go intel ;)

edit: overlooked the RAM, go with 8gb

English is not my native language, so go easy on me
