First.. I know this is the Peripheral forum, but I know most people in here are gamers and I want the opinion of gamers.

my number criteria is a monitor that is 24 inches and is at least 120hz.

I have two options:

BenQ XL2420T

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014270

vs

ASUS VG248QE

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313

Both monitors have great reviews and I have heard great things about both.    Asus is cheaper and is what i'm leaning towards right now.  I mostly play BF3, CS:GO, and some LOL.  Please advise on which monitor is best and why you like / would get it.

Thanks!

no clue about monitors but if choosing between ASUS and Benq. Thats easy. Benq was terrible in my 360 as dvd drive. ASUS on the other hand is a well respected brand with decent to good aftersale services.

English is not my native language, so go easy on me

Do you guys know anything about lightboost.  I hear people talking about it in the reviews but i'm not 100% if both have it?

Lightboost is specifically for gaming in 3D because apparently between the glasses and the way it displays on screen it shows up darker for some reason (at least that's how I understand it)

I have the ASUS 144Hz monitor.  Great monitor........if it only had the resolution of my other ASUS 1440p monitor, I'd be in heaven.

BF3, Total War, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite so mostly FPS and Strategy.  Pretty much any game as long as it's good quality with great graphics.

Get one of these  :)

Yeah, I looked at them.  I'll wait until someone like ASUS puts them out here where they can be supported like they do with the PB278Q, 1 dead pixel and you can send it back with advanced replacement.  Hurry up ASUS!

I got a QNIX and it is amazing and luckily i got a perfect one..But not everyone is so lucky as there are alot of BLB issues that can't be fixed..I agree they need to make a 1440p 120hz monitor already with a warranty.. :)
