Need recommendations for PSU

Go to solution Solved by Matduss,

In that case, it might be worth stretching a bit more for a psu that should be plenty for any of that: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr

Sorry, bought my PSU before you posted this. I got some advice from my uncle. Thanks for helpping though  :)

Hello everyone! In a week or two, I will be building my first computer. The only part I haven't bought yet is the PSU. I am looking for a 500W or 550W PSU. I want a reliable one and a relatively quiet one too. Nothing to expensive too, I don't want to pay more than 80$ CAD. What would you guys recommend and why?

Try to get a modular PSU, it makes cable management much easier and your case will look neater (more tidy).

The graphics card is a GTX 750 Ti but I do plan to upgrade it in a year or two.

A system with a 750 Ti would easily run off of a decent 250w. What are you planning to upgrade to?

Not sure yet. I was thinking of a 300$-400$ graphics card. Then later in the future I would go with SLI or CrossFire depending on wich card I buy.
