I upgraded from the Netgear n600 to the Netgear Nighthawk x6 and had trouble setting the wireless up but eventually got it working. I changed the DNS to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 and everything worked fine.

When I went to use the computer upstairs I can connect to the network but don't have any internet access. I've tried updating drivers, scanning for viruses, power cycling, boot only the basics, and I can connect to another network and have access but when I try to connect to my network I don't get internet access.

I'm using the

TP-Link 450 Mbps 2.4/5GHz Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter

And even bought the

TP-Link - AV 500 Nano Powerline Adapter Starter Kit

And I still can't connect access the internet.
