Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning GPU Coil whine

Okay so I can play skyrim fine but whenever I launch kingdoms of amalur, I get VERY loud coilwhine and high fan speeds at the menu.  I turned on V-Sync and it stopped, but when I get in game, the card starts making noise again, not as loud and it's not exactly whining but it sounds bad.  I'm guessing this game is badly optomized or something, but what could I do to fix this?

What's the temps in either game, and GPU usage?

Temps are fine, around 28 degrees, but in amalur when V-SYNC is off the usage goes WAYYY up and when it's on it's not as high but still high.. I don't get it, this is only in amalur so far
