CSS can pretty much replace JS for most stuff you want to do on a website these days ;)

Haha; It's often best to take a few steps back and re-write the CSS completely if you run into many issues. That's mostly a sign of a deeper rooted issue than the element itself. So make sure your foundation is laid out correctly, then re-write the child selectors. ;)

Yeah i know, almost the only thing i use JS for is an autmated footer so the year will always be correct without doing it manually! :P

css ain't that bad. I pretty much use javascript for anything because github pages doesn't support php. Store my blog posts in Json and iterate over them. I would use biz.nf but like .co.nf domains are so sketchy that people don't click on them.

Actually, .bat is the best language for making websites. I can @Echo off your PHP any day!

I use a Lenovo T440: i5 4300U, 8GB RAM, 128GB Samsung 840 Evo, 14" 900p display and an external 23" 1080p passive 3D monitor. Extended 6-cell battery with internal 3-cell. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (I only use open-source software -- haven't paid for a single program yet).
