I have the 760t and h105. I plugged in the h105 in my mobo fan header and then I plugged in one of my 4 fans in push pull config in cpu header, is this ok? Does that mean I can't control that one fan I plugged in the cpu header? Do I even need to use the cpu header? Because I still have one header from the front io I can use.

You plugged all 4 fans into 1 CPU header?

I plugged one fan in cpu header... I mean idk man... I used the 4 pin connectors the case came with and plugged 3 fans there, and I plugged one fan in cpu header.. I plugged my h105 in one of my mobo header.

How do you even plugged all 4 fans in one cpu header? And what's powering all the other fans if I only plugged one can in cpu header?

Alright so I watched videos.. I plugged in my h105 pump Into one of my mobo fan header because it needs to run 100 percent all the time and not just base on cpu temp. Now I plugged in my radiator fans Into the y fan header into the cpu fan header.. Now.. Where do I plug in the other 2 fans that are on push/top? I don't have anymore fan headers in my mobo but I do have 4 fan headers from my case (760t)

My build ;

I7 4790k

H105

Asus vii hero

760t

G1 gigabyte

Corsair vengeance 16

Evga g2 750

What so you mean fan headers from your case?

There are 4 4 pins that are alrdy connected in my case, I believe it's for the front io fan control . Do I use those? I'm not sure where to plug in fans and I think it's what creating my q 99 code problem..

From the fan controller?

Plug in the fans into the fan headers and then plug in a sata power into the fan controller power which will provide power to the fans.

Should look like the pic:

Omg!! Man that's exactly my dilemma!!! Please explain to me what's that big one for?!

And what if I plugged in all my push pull fans (2 pull and 2 push) into all those 4 fan headers, will that be fine? Or must I use the y fan header that came with my h105 and plugged that y header into the cpu fan and plugged 2 radiator fans into that y header?

Edit : I can just plug that power into any of my sata cables right? Like it can be either the one I use for ssd or hdd or optical?

The big one is for a SATA power input from the PSU.

I think you'll be fine running all the fans from the fan controller.

Someone told me I need something plugged in my cpu fan header other wise I will always get an error... I thought I always have to use the cpu fan header lol..

And umm I'm already using 2 sata cables plugged into my psu so I can power up my hdd and optical drive, but 1 sata cable has 3 of those plug in things, can I just plug that big one into one of the sata cables I already have plugged in my psu to power up my optical?

Any SATA power cables meaning they come from your power supply.

Not SATA data cable which travels from your motherboard to hard drive/SSD/optical drive

A power cable looks something like this:

Sorry I misunderstood you. Yes you can use any of the SATA power headers on the PSU.

Alright so I learned one thing.. So i can just plug any fans I want my front io to be able to control right?

Yes. As long as the fans are getting power from the fan controller.

You are gonna have to disable the CPU fan setting in BIOS so you don't get the CPU fan error everytime you boot up.

Well if I wanna use the cpu fan, which fans should I plug in there?

Any fan you want.

If you don't get the CPU fan error when booting with the y-cable then you might as well leave it there.

Since the front io will always run the fan at full speed... You think it's wise to plug in my exhaust and Intakes in my front io?

I'd rather have all my radiator fans running at the same speed and the intake and exhaust running off of other fan headers.

Go in to the bios under monitor and find Q-fan control for cpu and either disable it if your don't plug anything into the CPU fan header.
