So i just got my 970 HOF edition, and am obviously overclocking it. Im using MSI afterburner and unigen valley to do it. But have a few questions. After i have finished, does the overclock remain when i restart my pc? and will it only be applied when im running msi afterburner? Thanks in advance and happy new year.

Msi Afterburner has to be running. You can click the button at the bottom left to apply the oc when Afterburner starts

You can have Afterburner start up automatically and minimize to the notification area through the settings.

the only problem is it wont go on startup for me. It needs administrator access and anything with it refuses to start up with windows, even if i have specified it.

You should be able to specify Afterburner to run as administrator in the program properties.
