Ok, so I am dreaming a bit but Im planning on getting a triple r9 290x setup my question is should I use my Maximus VI Hero and have 2 lightning cards and 1 dual slot or upgrade to a x99 ws board and have triple lightnings and I need a good dual slot recommendation and power supply for my first option

In my opinion, Sapphire makes the best AMD cards.  I'd go with their Vapor-X version.

I would get triple lightning. Keeps its nice and consistent and with that overbuilt pcb they should get some nice clocks in three way

What Mobo + Power Supply would support that?

Sapphire Vapor-X. Linus uses them in his triple-290X rig "Autobahn Hammer"

My bad, The mpower's spacing is off just enough that it wouldnt work, Xpower would work for sure. I think the most solid choice and what i would pick would be the asus x99 pro. Perfect spacing, Lots of nice features and a nice price point
