so my dad wants a pc where he can do his work on he does work home every tuesday he also said he wants to learn a little photoshop but since there parents you know how that will go they will try it and quit a month later anyway.  so no high expectations. I was thinking more of an AMD build because there prices are pretty low .

so what parts should I use to save money? :o

How tech savvy would you say your dad is?

Are you just looking to get a new system or is a Copy of Windows and other peripherals needed? Budget?

Any AMD A4 APU with an FM2 board and 4GB of RAM should be enough for the average user. However, a budget would still be helpful.

below 200 euros would be nice. for his work he just uses a virtual environment. he used to know stuff about computers ( in windows NT time) but not anymore so we can say he knows the basics.

copy of windows is not needed since I already have these :)
